INDIANA HYNAM
Based in Melbourne, I’m a DOP/cinematographer with an affinity for poetic imagery and the philosophical dimensions of film.
My practice is rooted in an admiration and reverence for the language of cinema and its capacity to communicate on a level that is both deeply personal and profoundly universal. I'm deeply passionate about visual storytelling and the profound ways in which I can communicate, tap into, and identify with the subconscious through my work as a DOP.
I have DOP experience spanning many cinematic forms, from fashion film and content creation, to documentaries and short films. With each fresh medium I tackle, I'm exposed to new perspectives, interpretations and approaches to my craft- guiding me to harness its essence to create something that is not simply watched, but experienced!
